New Jersey Gov.-elect Chris Christie has announced his inaugural theme and named the charities that will benefit from money raised at his inauguration party.

"Rebuilding New Jersey Together: Pride Through Service and Community" will be the theme of the Jan. 19 event, emphasizing the importance of community partnerships.

Christie's Inaugural Committee is partnering with several charities, including The Community FoodBank of New Jersey, the National Guard State Family Readiness Council, and a group which provides drug treatment and education to adolescents and their families.

Money leftover from Christie's $500-a-plate inaugural party at Newark's Prudential Center will go directly to those charities.
