Christie Suggests 3-Year Phase For Income Tax Cuts

Gov. Chris Christie says his proposed 10 percent across-the-board tax cut should be phased in over three years.

Appearing Wednesday on MSNBC's "Morning Joe" program, the governor says phasing it in is the "responsible way" to do it.

Christie unveiled the tax cut during his State of the State address on Tuesday.

Democrats immediately blasted the plan as a boon for the wealthy and a boondoggle for school funding, which relies on the income tax.
