Next Class To Be Announced For NJ Hall Of Fame

Gov. Chris Christie is set to announce the 2012 inductees for New Jersey's Hall of Fame on Friday.

They were selected by voters online from a list of 50 historical figures, artists, entertainers and innovators who were announced in October. All have ties to the Garden State.

The nominees include former Vice President Aaron Burr, early women's rights activist Elizabeth Cady Stanton, salsa singer Celia Cruz, "Superman" actor Christopher Reeve and chef Alice Waters.

Those chosen will be inducted into the hall in June.

The hall is funded privately and exists virtually.
