Flash flooding caused by remnants of Tropical Storm Lee has caused scattered power outages around New Jersey. Nearly 2,700 homes and businesses are without electricity Thursday. Jersey Central Power & Light says most of its 2,300 outages are in north Jersey. However, a motor vehicle struck a utility pole and disrupted service to several hundred customers in Jackson Township. Atlantic City Electric is reporting 390 customers are without power. PSE&G is not reporting any outages.
