MY9TV.COM - Witnesses describe it as a horrific scene. At first, they thought the driver was having mechanical problems because he kept backing up over the victim. But police tell us the man behind the wheel knew what he was doing and they tracked him down and arrested him. Sharon Crowley is following the investigation and is at the scene in Fort Lee , New Jersey right now.

Nazaret Manoukan saw 25-year old Aena Hong get hit by a car and watched as the driver ran over her three more times.

"He got stuck on the curb that time I ran I approached.  I to knock on the window to get him out, but unfortunately it was locked." said Nazaret.

Fort Lee police say Hong's boyfriend 26-year old Charles Ann ran her over as she tried to walk across the intersection of Anderson Avenue and Inwood Terrace.

Investigators say he hit reverse and ran over her again and then put the car in drive and accelerated again.

Nazaret says he tried to stop him, "I was close to breaking the window because it was third time he ran over her."

Charles Ann sped away and then ditched his car. Police found him hiding at a friend's home in Queens. He has now been charged with murder.

The couple lived in this high rise in Fort Lee near the George Washington Bridge. Workers in the building say they often saw the two yelling at each other on the sidewalk outside.

They say she was breaking off the relationship and he was out of rent money and very depressed.

"He was a nice guy he would always say hello in my lobby. When police came here last night I was shocked believe me," said a neighbor.

I will include that he had passport cash and planned to go to Korea and is being held on three million.
