MY9TV.com - Floodwaters are rising again in some New Jersey towns battered by Hurricane Irene ten days ago.
This time, it's the remnants of Tropical Storm Lee.
Towns like Paterson, Little Falls and Wayne expect more floods by the time the Passaic River crests Saturday morning.
Also hard hit, Pompton Lakes.
Sharon Crowley has the latest.
The sign on this flood ravaged house shows just how desperate families here in Pompton Lakes New Jersey are feeling.
This neighborhood near the Ramapo River has flooded multiple times in the last 18months. After Hurricane Irene hit it flooded again overnight.
She wants to move out but she knows nobody will want to buy her house now. She evacuated before Irene hit and hasn't been back.
The force of the Irene's wind crushed her above of ground pool.
Some of her neighbors can't even check on their homes. He says his living room has 8-feet of water in it. Even the insurance adjusters can't get to his property.
The river crested tonight. Now families here will again have to be patient and wait for the water to go down. So they can return home to clean up again.
