The key component of the Precision Brow Planing System is the Planer, an unparalleled hair removal tool that safely, effectively, and uniformly shapes brows. Because brow hair doesn’t grow in a perfect, symmetrical pattern, tweezing and waxing are imperfect solutions, leaving gaps and creating asymmetry. In addition, pulling out hair from the root can cause skin irritation as well as follicle damage, permanently preventing re-growth—one wrong pluck, and the hair is gone forever. By contrast, the Precision Blow Planer uses a perfectly angled Planer to gently “plane away” hairs with a downward motion, creating a sleek, clean line without gaps. The Planer allows for easy, regular brow maintenance—no need to wait for hairs to grow back to tweezing length. And while tweezing and waxing slowly whittle away hair over time, Planing allows you to contour brows without pulling out the entire hair, preserving your natural growth.

The multi-step kit walks you through the three D’s of brow shaping: Design, Define and Diffuse.

DESIGN: To create the perfect brow, begin by using Christi Harris’s COLOR BLEND TRIO FOR MATCHING AND MAPPING YOUR CUSTOM SHADE AND SHAPE AND WITH THE exclusive Adda Brow formula YOU WILL BE ABLE TO to fill in bald areas, elongate the brow tail extension, and add texture for a flawless shape with a natural finish. Apply Adda Brow with quick, repeated, “dart-like” motions using the included Designer/Definer Brush. For added depth and color, lightly dot Color Blend Trio over Adda Brow, using a stroking motion only as needed for more dense application in sparse areas.

DEFINE: To shape the brow, use the included Brow Map as a guide for achieving precise hair removal and creating symmetrical brows. Place the Precision Brow Planer flat against the skin with the PLANER pointing down. Plane the top of the brow with a gentle, downward stroke just to the natural brow line, being careful not to remove the arch. Use the same technique along the brow tail, leveling roundness to create a perfectly straight, elongated “V” shape. Underneath the brow, place the very tip of the Precision Brow Planer flat against skin, sliding against hair growth by gently lifting hair upward, as if with tweezers. Gently press down at the root of the hairs, removing only those that are outside the natural brow line. Finally, Plane between eyes using the same gentle downward or side-to-side motion.

DIFFUSE: To create a natural finish, use the fan end of the Diffuser/Refiner Brush to sweep Diffusing Powder Duo from end to end, blending across the entire brow. For more natural, subtle brow color, reload brush and apply using firm pressure to further blend Color Blend Trio without removing it. Finally use the Angled Spooley end of the Diffuser/Refiner Brush to eliminate any excess powder and groom brows.

(After becoming comfortable with basic brow definition, you can use the kit to create a custom design, completely transforming your brows—and your appearance.)
