(EndPlay Staff Reports) - As the tenth anniversary of Sept. 11 approaches, and people begin to remember where they were that fateful day, a special 9/11 YouTube channel is asking people to share their stories and memories of the day.

" Reflections on 9/11: 10 Years Later ," a joint project by YouTube and The New York Times, currently has broadcasts and information from the Times from September 2001.

Now the two media sources want to add to it by asking people to upload a video of them sharing a story about one of the following:

• Your strongest memory of that day or that time period.

• How 9/11 changed you, and how you believe it changed America.

• What you lost – or gained – because of 9/11 .

The best videos will be featured on YouTube and The Times on Sept. 11.

The videos should be submitted to Reflections on 9/11: 10 Years Later . More information about the project can be found there, too.

In a YouTube blog post , Olivia Ma, YouTube News and Politics Manager, wrote about the project, saying, "Through telling and sharing stories, we can all hope to make sense of an event that, for many of us, was one of the defining moments of our lives. Thank you for sharing yours."
