Rhyme Time

Sandra Kenoff of Scotch Plains is a rhymer for hire.
You may have heard Sandra’s words if you attended a family occasion recently and the tribute speech was in rhyme.
Sandra writes rhyming Bar and Bat Mitzvah candle-lighting speeches, wedding toasts, milestone birthday salutations, office parties salutes. She’ll ghost-write the soliloquy for a fee, after learning all she can learn about the person/place/thing it is intended to honor.
Sandra began as a copywriter, and worked in publishing before changing gears to be home with her young daughters. The speechwriting satisfies her passion for creative writing, and earns some money too.
She tries to avoid the predictable “Come up for candle one ‘cause you are so much fun,” and she takes pride in learning about the people she is writing for. “The thing people love and appreciate about the work I do is that it’s so personal,” she says.
