"New Jersey Now" is a half-hour roundtable talk show that addresses the major political topics and issues in the Garden State. It airs Sundays at 12 noon.

Department of Public Affairs

Works hand-in-hand with nonprofit groups and supports campaigns, including breast and ovarian cancer, children's issues, abuse, intolerance, ethnic contributions, drunk driving, AIDS, culture and the arts.

Maintains public files for FCC compliance, tracking news and public affairs stories and programs.

Provides My9 News at 11 with information about community activities.

Sponsors direct campaigns such as awareness walks, as well as canned food, coat and toy drives.

Develops educational campaigns.

Helps nonprofit organizations and governmental agencies publicize their services by providing free public service airtime.

Public Service Announcements (PSAs)

Tape format: Beta SP

Tape length: 10 or 30 seconds

Documentation needed for screening: IRS form 501(c)(3), supporting material outlining PSAs objectives and brochure and/or accurate background information on the organization. A tax exemption certificate is unacceptable.

PSAs making direct appeals for financial contributions are not accepted.

Localized PSAs are preferred.

Time-specific PSAs must be sent at least two months in advance.

PSAs must be well-produced with a clear, concise message, including the organization's name or logo and the organization's telephone number or a resource telephone number.

Announcements are screened on a first-come, first-served basis. There are no guarantees that a spot will air. Approved spots are placed in our inventory for future rotation. It takes six to eight weeks to screen a PSA. Please send all materials to:
