Assistant Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo Onofri says David Lundy and his 50-year-old grandfather, Morris "Tommy" Lundy of West Windsor, were spotted around 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at a fast-food restaurant in Florence, S.C.
Onofri says the boy, who suffers from asthma, was in "good spirits" and did not appear to be having any medical issues.
Morris Lundy faces charges of kidnapping, child endangerment and interference with child custody. He was being held in a South Carolina jail awaiting extradition proceedings, and it was not known if he had a lawyer.
