WOODBRIDGE, N.J. (AP) — New Jersey's Education
Department is examining test results from Woodbridge High School to see if there
was cheating.
The state last year began an inquiry into possible cheating on standardized
tests at 34 schools because an abnormal number of wrong answers had been erased
and replaced with correct ones.
Earlier this year, the state began probing an additional nine schools for
various irregularities.
Education officials tell The Star-Ledger of Newark (bit.ly/MGeD8v) they are
looking into results at Woodbridge. The officials would not say what the problem
may be or if other schools are involved.
Students at Woodbridge High pass the High School Proficiency Assessment at a
higher rate than students statewide.
