BUENA VISTA, N.J. (AP) — A man wanted in a machete attack on a woman in New Jersey has been shot by police after he allegedly came at them with a weapon.
Forty-three-year-old
Eugenio Morales was spotted by two officers Friday evening in Buena
Vista. Authorities say that when the officers approached him, he attacked them with a weapon and an officer shot him. He was taken to a hospital.
Morales was wanted by police since a machete attack
Wednesday on a 41-year-old woman in Vineland. She was found with
life-threatening injuries to her face, head, body and hands. Her name
was not released for her own safety. She was in critical but stable
condition.
