OLD BRIDGE, N.J. (AP) — Funeral services have been held for one of the two
people killed by a co-worker at a New Jersey supermarket
last week.
More than 300 people gathered Wednesday at the Waitt Funeral Home in Old
Bridge to mourn 24-year-old Bryan Breen, who was described as a gentle giant who
always found a way to put people at ease.
Breen and 18-year-old Cristina LoBrutto were shot and killed Friday by
Terence Tyler as they worked the overnight shift at the Pathmark in Old Bridge.
The 23-year-old Tyler — who committed suicide at the store — was discharged from
the Marines in 2010 after suffering from depression.
LoBrutto's funeral will be held Thursday morning at St. Ambrose
Church.
