TRENTON, N.J. (AP) — New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie is hitting the road to support Republican gubernatorial candidates in North Carolina and Indiana.

He's scheduled to appear at a rally Thursday in Salisbury, N.C., with candidate Pat McCrory, then be at a Raleigh fundraising event for him.

The next day, he's scheduled to go to Carmel, Ind., for a fundraiser for U.S. Rep. Mike Pence, who is running for governor in Indiana
