The MTA has announced there will be service disruptions for 15 subway lines for September 15th and 16th affecting the No's 2 3 4 5 6 7 trains and the A C D F G J N Q R trains.
The MTA says the weekend changes are necessary because of capital construction work on the NYC Transit subway system. This work is of transit's ongoing Capital Rebuilding Program aimed at upgrading and maintaining the tracks, stations and signal systems in order to continue to provide our customers with safe and reliable service.
Customers who rely on these lines should allow for additional travel time.
