BAYONNE, N.J. (AP) — Motorists who travel the Bayonne Bridge will need to find an alternate route for a few hours on Sunday.

The span will be closed from 4:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. for an emergency drill.

The Port Authority says the drill will simulate a head-on collision that results in multiple accidents on the roads leading to the bridge.

Motorists can use the Goethals Bridge or Outerbridge Crossing to travel between New Jersey and Staten Island during Sunday morning's drill.
