TRENTON, N.J. (AP) — Weather forecasters in New Jersey
are closely following the path of Tropical Storm Sandy down in the
Caribbean.
Forecasters say remnants from the storm could affect the state beginning on
Sunday and into early next week.
The potential exists for a major coastal storm with heavy rain, high winds,
coastal flooding and beach erosion.
Forecasters say it all depends on the track of the storm and how Sandy
interacts with a low pressure system approaching the coast.
The storm also could move out to sea and have little impact on New
Jersey.
