TRENTON, N.J. (AP) — Strong wind gusts could continue in New Jersey into Tuesday morning after the dangerous hybrid storm Sandy crashed into the state.

Coastal areas and inland southern New Jersey can expect sustained winds of 40 to 50 mph and gusts up to 75 mph until 9 a.m.

The National Weather Service also says inland northern and central New Jersey will likely have sustained winds of 35 to 50 mph and gusts up to 75 mph.
