TRENTON, N.J. (AP) — Strong wind gusts could continue in New Jersey into
Tuesday morning after the dangerous hybrid storm Sandy
crashed into the state.
Coastal areas and inland southern New Jersey can expect sustained winds of 40
to 50 mph and gusts up to 75 mph until 9 a.m.
The National Weather Service also says inland northern and central New Jersey
will likely have sustained winds of 35 to 50 mph and gusts up to 75 mph.
Flooding also remains a danger across the state.
