SEASIDE HEIGHTS, N.J. (AP) — Seaside Heights residents
and property owners can drive into town for the first time since Superstorm
Sandy walloped the resort made famous by MTV's "Jersey Shore" reality show.
Mayor Bill Akers says the town will be open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. for
residents to assess damage and retrieve property.
The traffic lights aren't working and many street signs are missing.
Motorists will face arrest if they attempt to enter Ortley Beach or Seaside
Park.
