TRENTON, N.J.
(AP) — New Jersey lawmakers are putting off a vote on a bill that would
make sure medical marijuana users remain eligible for organ transplants
or other medical care.
A vote had been scheduled for Thursday in the Assembly, but it was delayed so additional amendments could be considered.
The issue is one that's being considered as lawmakers start looking at implications of allowing pot for patients.
The state's first legal dispensary opened last year.
